When a comedy act is on the schedule concession providers see a prime audience, but only the ability to sell for walk-in due to the lack of an intermission. This means the opportunity to capture sales is now cut in half and the time between doors opening and the show starting is critical.
With the importance of the first 60 minutes so clear, the Wang team leveraged Noble’s order ahead service to allow their patrons to order the day of the show at anytime to have their order ready upon their arrival. They gave patrons 2 pickup time options for the 7:00PM show – 6:15PM and 6:45PM.
Over $5K of sales captured hours before the doors even opened.
Spreading the foot traffic across the venue and the cadence of pickup times allowed for not only the Noble bar to be successful, but shortened the lines of all the other concession stands.
